Royal Ascot is the most prestigious event in the British flat racing calendar and one of the defining occasions of the London social season. The 2026 Royal Meeting takes place from Tuesday 16 June to Saturday 20 June at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire, approximately 30 miles west of Central London.
Over 300,000 visitors attend across the five days, with nine Group 1 races — the highest tier of flat racing — scheduled throughout the week. The Royal Procession opens each day’s racing as members of the Royal Family arrive by carriage along the Straight Mile.
Ladies’ Day, traditionally held on the Thursday, is the most popular day for corporate hospitality and social visitors. For 2026, this falls on Thursday 19 June.
Ascot Racecourse is located on the A329 in Berkshire, approximately 50 minutes from Mayfair under normal traffic conditions. The most common route is via the M4 westbound, joining the A329(M) and then the A332 directly to the racecourse.
On race days, the A329 and A332 experience significant congestion from approximately 11:00am as tens of thousands of visitors converge on the course. The final two miles along the High Street and into the racecourse entrance can add 20 to 30 minutes during peak arrivals.
We recommend departing Central London by 10:30am for a comfortable arrival. Our chauffeurs use real-time traffic data and years of experience on this route to select the fastest approach, including alternative routes via the A30 when the A329 is congested.
Ascot Racecourse has designated chauffeur drop-off areas adjacent to each enclosure entrance. Your chauffeur will confirm the exact drop-off point based on which enclosure you are attending.
For Royal Enclosure guests, the drop-off is closest to Car Park 1 and the Royal Enclosure entrance on the southern side. Queen Anne and Village Enclosure guests are typically dropped closer to the High Street entrance.
Your chauffeur will drive directly to the appropriate drop-off zone, assist you from the vehicle, and then move to the designated chauffeur waiting area. When you are ready to leave — whether after the last race or earlier — simply message your chauffeur and your vehicle will be brought to the collection point.
Royal Enclosure — The most prestigious area. Strict dress code: gentlemen wear morning dress with a top hat; ladies wear formal daywear with a hat or substantial headpiece. Arriving by chauffeur in a Range Rover or S-Class complements the formality of this enclosure perfectly.
Queen Anne Enclosure — Smart and stylish with excellent views. Ladies are required to wear a hat or fascinator; gentlemen should wear a suit and tie. A popular choice for those attending Ascot for the first time.
Village Enclosure — A relaxed yet stylish atmosphere. Smart dress is expected but the code is less formal. Popular for group bookings and younger visitors.
Windsor Enclosure — The most accessible option with a relaxed dress code. Family-friendly and ideal for first-time visitors.
A chauffeur-driven arrival protects your outfit from the moment you leave home. No walking across muddy car parks, no crushed hats, no arriving flustered. Step out of your vehicle looking exactly as you intended.
Range Rover Autobiography — Our most requested vehicle for Royal Ascot. The Range Rover makes a statement at the drop-off without being ostentatious. Its commanding presence, spacious interior and refined cabin make it the natural choice for the Royal Meeting. From £900 for full day.
Mercedes-Benz S-Class — Elegant, understated and supremely comfortable. The S-Class is ideal for couples or individuals who prefer a quieter arrival. A popular choice for Royal Enclosure guests. From £700 for full day.
Mercedes-Benz V-Class — If you are attending as a group of four to seven, the V-Class offers generous space for everyone, including room for hats, bags and race-day essentials. From £600 full day.
Ascot car parks fill quickly and involve long walks to the enclosure entrances. Your chauffeur drops you directly at the gate and handles everything
Morning dress, hats and formal daywear deserve a chauffeur-driven arrival. Step out looking exactly as you intended — no muddy car parks, no crushed hats.
Royal Ascot and champagne go hand in hand. Enjoy every glass without giving a second thought to the journey home
